AIRCRAFT ARMOR

For aircraft armor, weight and density are the most crucial factors. Reaction Sintered Boron Carbide (B4C) ceramics are lighter in weight than alumina or silicon carbide ceramics of the same size. Ironsnail B4C ceramics can be tailor made into various shapes such as rectangular, hexagonal or cylindrical per customer's design, together with SSIC, Ironsnail aircraft armor can be ideally suited for a variety of rotary and fixed wing aircraft.

VEHICLE ARMOR

The Sintered Silicon Carbide (SSIC) ceramics, using high-purity, ultra-fine silicon carbide powder as raw material, adding a certain amount of sintering aids, sintered in atmospheric pressure inert gas or vacuum atmosphere, at high temperature from 1950 to 2100 degree Celsius. All the materials and components of Snail️ Armor are ideally suited for a variety of vehicle armor solutions. All components are STANAG accredited and can be supplied as tiles or as a complete armored plate. The products is intergrated with optimized composite structures, and the armor systems are with smooth, lightweight and multi-hit capability.
